ABOUT ME
I have been in contact with Astrology since a young age. I was always intrigued by this symbolic language, fascinated by its ability to unveil one’s essence and journey in this world. My first Reading was a special and touching experience that made me feel reassured: after all, how could a complete stranger articulate so precisely my worries and concerns, my relational dynamics, or even my aspirations and fears? Since that day, when I experienced firsthand the power of Astrology as a tool for self-knowledge and acceptance, I am sure of two things: Astrology works, and I want to learn it.
Over the course of +3 years formally learning Astrology—an ongoing process that will surely never stop, honouring my strong Gemini essence—I have experienced how this language allows us to address feelings that are often so deep and blurry that we can hardly see or express them clearly. I see Astrology as an intermediary between the depths of our personal experiences and the real, outside, palpable world.
As a people person who deeply values personal connections, I aim to bring the wonders of this language to more people. I offer Astrology as a service, facilitating the embrace of your own journey, much like the astrologers who helped me, translating this ancient wisdom into a practical tool that brings clarity and eases acceptance. Whatever reason leads you to book a reading with me, you can expect a great deal of empathy and a strong commitment to providing you with meaningful insights.
Why Casa Doze?
The Astrological Houses are a fundamental part of every birth chart. There are 12 houses, each associated with a Zodiac sign and a planet, and each representing different areas of our lives. Casa Doze - meaning Twelfth House in Portuguese - is a reference to the 12th House of my own birth chart, which is pretty much the centre of my life since I have 4 personal planets in there (Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Mars).
The 12th House is associated with the process of dissolution of the individual ego and the merging with something greater than the self. It translates our innate mystical longing to be part of something subtler and more universal than ourselves, and it tends to dissolve the barriers between the individual self and the collective. On a superficial level, the 12th house is often understood in a rather heavy way - it is associated with prison, hospitals, addictions, or sacrifice - but, despite the validity of these associations, while studying astrology I slowly began to understand other dimensions of the 12th house essence - selflessness, compassion, empathy, contemplation, surrendering.
My interest and curiosity in Astrology partially derive from my strong 12th House essence. Casa Doze represents my longing to share this knowledge to benefit someone else.
Astrology is not only about your Sun or Rising sign. It’s not even just the combination of your Sun-Moon-Rising (although this provides a fair amount of important insights). Astrology is a language that goes far deeper, exploring countless dimensions of your essence and your experience in this life. You also have a Venus, Mars, or Saturn sign, and these planets are not only placed in different Astrological Houses, but they also have very different connections between themselves. So here is a great fact: we are all unique! Each one of us is a unique being, not only because of our birth chart but also because of the way we embody our Astrological fingerprint.
Astrology is a language that allows us to better understand ourselves and decode some of the intricacies of our unique imprint. It sheds light on our past, present, and future, allowing us to understand the greater meaning of our own existence. It brings us clarity, equips us with self-understanding, and facilitates the path to acceptance. Acceptance of ourselves, our journey, our ups and downs, and everything in between, as well as the world around us — ultimately paving the way for happiness and harmony
The Astrology I practise is a modern approach to this ancient wisdom, blending the elements of traditional Astrology with other more modern and psychologically-based approaches, such as Evolutionary and Psychological Astrology. This means practising Astrology in a person-centred approach rather than an event-centred one, giving as much importance to one’s free will as to the obstacles one may find on the way. I’m not as interested in exploring the concepts of ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ as I am in understanding human potential and how we can embrace self-knowledge to materialise the best version of ourselves.
